One Motion mag-drives use a high power magnetic array to create high mechanical power and constant torque over a wide speed range.
The magnets are carefully shaped to create a high pole count. The large quantity of rare earth permanent magnets line the outer moving surface, providing torque and inertia.
This simple design allows for electrical power to be used for direct mechanical rotation (watts to torque).

Conveyors and other machinery traditionally use a motor and gearbox. Electrical power is transferred from the motor to the gears before finally being used to create motion.
The use of so many rotating components speeds up the life of the system and increases the likelihood of unplanned maintenance.
Thanks to their simple design, One Motion™ mag-drives have fewer rotating components than conventional drive systems, require only 2 – 3 bearings and carry an industry leading 3 year warranty.
